I've been keeping an eye on the Equaleyes show that I recently uploaded. The d/l count on the collection/search page is 1 on the 16bit but the detail page shows 33. The 48bit version shows no download count on search/collection page but 2 on the detail page. Bug?

The search results are recached every 24 hours - it would be quite the database load if those had to update in real-time! The page reflects downloads more up to the minute though there is slight lag there as well.

I've been watching it for a week and the only count that has changed is on the detail page. The other count remains at 1. I've refreshed the page and tried it in both IE and firefox. Waaaaaay more than 24hrs.

I know they're all logged and when this has come up before we're told it should catch up eventually...

I think it might work more like, individual details pages' counters are usually updated within 24 hr, while the search engine view is updated "eventually".

I've seen a lit of disparity in items that got suddenly popular over the course of a week (where details page has a high count, but SE doesn't).
